Father - The Poor Father.
Father's Children - The children of the poor father.
Rich Man - The one who charge against the Father's family for stealing the spirit of his family's food
Rich Man's Children - The Rich Man's unhealthy Children.
Setting: A small town on the island of Luzon and the court.
Exposition: The Narrator and his poor family who lived in a town
with a rich neighbor.The narrator and his poor family moved to a small town after his father's farm had been destroyed by a sudden flood. The rich family seldom came out of their house.
Rising Action: It is when the rich man charge a case against the Father's family for stealing the spirit of his family's food.
Climax: The Poor family and the Rich family goes to court.
Falling Action: The poor father successfully defended his family
and paid the rich man with invisible money.
Ending: After the court scene the father and his poor family laugh together with the Judge.
Symbolism: I think the symbolism is the window because it symbolize in finding out things or revealing something. It is when the Rich man closed all the windows after seeing the poor Father's children full of life.
Theme: Social Status
Lesson: The lesson of the story is to be positive like the poor father's family they were happy all the time they don't need to be rich to be happy they need love and sacrifice that connect them.
